Practical experience. Individual training. Honest guidance.

Hero Hounds grew from experience working with operational dogs and developed through years of applying that knowledge to pet dogs, rescue dogs and complex behavioural cases.

Police dog handling provided a solid grounding in communication, motivation, control, reading behaviour and working around dogs capable of presenting genuine risk.

However, pet-dog training requires a broader application than simply transferring operational methods into a family home.

Working with nervous rescues, household behavioural problems and owners living with reactivity has helped shape the Hero Hounds approach.

We understand that a family dog cannot be treated like a police dog—and that a high-drive working breed cannot always be treated like an easy-going companion breed.

Our strength lies in recognising those differences.

We combine structured methodology with practical pet-dog experience to create an individual route for the dog and household in front of us.

We live and breathe dogs, genuinely care about the outcome and are not interested in selling owners unrealistic promises.

Our goal is to help you understand your dog, improve communication and create meaningful changes that work beyond the training session.
